BotaniGard 22WP – Beauveria Bassiana Biological Insecticide

BotaniGard 22WP is a professional-grade biological insecticide powered by Beauveria bassiana strain GHA, a naturally occurring beneficial fungus used by commercial growers for decades to control soft-bodied insects and resistant pest populations.

Unlike conventional chemical insecticides, BotaniGard works by infecting insects on contact, helping reduce resistance issues while remaining compatible with many integrated pest management (IPM) programs.

Effective Against:

✔ Whiteflies
✔ Aphids
✔ Thrips
✔ Fungus gnats
✔ Root aphids
✔ Mealybugs
✔ Psyllids
✔ Leafhoppers
✔ Weevils
✔ Lace bugs
✔ Chinch bugs
✔ And many other soft-bodied insects

Why Growers Use BotaniGard 22WP

✔ Biological insect control using Beauveria bassiana strain GHA
✔ Excellent resistance management tool
✔ Safe for use up to day of harvest
✔ Works well in greenhouses, indoor gardens, hydroponics, coco coir, and soil grows
✔ Compatible with many pesticide rotation programs
✔ Used by professional greenhouse growers for more than 20 years

How It Works

BotaniGard spores attach directly to the insect’s outer surface (cuticle), germinate, and infect the pest naturally. Insects stop feeding and die shortly after infection.

Because the mode of action is biological and physical, pests are far less likely to develop resistance compared to many traditional chemical insecticides.
