Do these miticides require a surfactant?
A non-ionic surfactant is recommended for best performance and improved leaf coverage.
The optional Southern AG Surfactant add-on comes as a separate concentrated bottle and is mixed into your spray solution when preparing your Floramite application.
2 oz Surfactant Coverage:
At the recommended rate (5–10 mL per gallon):
• 2 oz bottle makes 6–12 gallons of spray solution
The included products can be applied without a surfactant, but adding one helps sprays spread evenly across leaf surfaces for improved coverage and performance.
Recommended Use
Mix:
- 1/4–1/2 tsp per gallon (1.2–2.4 mL)
Apply as a full foliar spray:
- upper leaf surfaces
- undersides of leaves
- stems
- crevices
Best results:
- rotate products between applications
- spray at lights-off or low light
- achieve full plant coverage
