Does Floramite SC require a surfactant?

 

A non-ionic surfactant is recommended for best performance and improved leaf coverage.

 

The optional Southern AG Surfactant add-on comes as a separate concentrated bottle and is mixed into your spray solution when preparing your Floramite application.

 

2 oz Surfactant Coverage:

At the recommended rate (5–10 mL per gallon):

 

• 2 oz bottle makes 6–12 gallons of spray solution

 

Floramite can be applied without a surfactant, but adding one helps the spray spread evenly across leaf surfaces for improved coverage and performance.

Active Ingredient: Bifenazate 22.6%

Floramite SC is a professional miticide designed for fast knockdown and long-lasting control of spider mites and other mite species on ornamental and foliage plants.

Provides:
• Rapid contact activity
• Long residual control (up to 28 days)
• Excellent resistance rotation chemistry
• Soft impact on many beneficial insects and predatory mites

Effective Against:
• Spider mites
• Red mites
• Broad mites
• Spruce mites
• Lewis mites
• Clover mites
• Grass mites
• Other ornamental plant mite species

Recommended Mix Rate:
• 1/4 tsp to 1/2 tsp per gallon of water
(approximately 1.25 mL to 2.5 mL)

Application Tips:
• Apply as a thorough foliar spray
• Spray upper and lower leaf surfaces completely
• Best results occur with full plant coverage
• Rotate with other miticides to help prevent resistance
